In The Beginning...
Located at 4016 Hamilton Street in Omaha, Nebraska, our red brick building began life in the late 1890s as the Whitley Livery, a buggy and wagon repair shop. Evolving over the decades into an automotive repair facility, we opened to the public as the Omaha Speed Shop in late 2022. We proudly care for classic cars and provide an extensive range of services from standard maintenance to mechanical services, including brake repair, tune-ups, adding disc brakes, EFI, transmission work and all aspects of general repair and maintenance. We also have a very strong skill set in performance work.

We are dedicated to the Walnut Hill neighborhood of Omaha and pride ourselves on being great stewards and citizens of our small slice of heaven in Omaha. As a classic old-school automotive repair shop, we encourage our customers, friends, and fans to stop by and have a cup of coffee. Our display lobby includes vintage race cars and drags racing memorabilia. Friends are always welcome at the shop. We have a great selection of t-shirts, hats, and decals for sale and appreciate the support. We are typically open Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM, but it's not unusual to find us working before or well after closing time. We are here to serve and always available by appointment seven days a week.

Dustin has been both a Co-Crew Chief on Paul Lee's Funny Car and Assistant Crew Chief on Ron Capps Funny Car. He also worked on Cruz Pedregon's Champion team. Additionally, he has nearly 20 years of NHRA crew experience. As our General Manager, he oversees all aspects of the Speed Shop.

Part of the Ron Capps 2016 World Champion team, Terry has over 15 years NHRA experience and is well known for his expert mechanical skills. A true Car Chief, Terry devotes his time and energy to making sure your vintage car is respected and done right. As our Chief Technician, Terry's expertise guides all of our work and repairs.
